Installation Guidelines

1. Prepare the RG58 coaxial cable according to Ancor's instructions.

2. Expose 9/16" of the centre conductor and 1/4" of the braided shield.

3. Ensure the braided shield does not contact the centre conductor.

4. Insert the cable and twist the connector body into position.

5. Crimp or solder the centre conductor as specified by Ancor.

6. Trim excess conductor and inspect the connection.

For exterior installations, Ancor recommends suitable 3/4" heat-shrink tubing to help waterproof the connection and provide strain relief.
